MOBIDIA ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF NEW PRESIDENT AND CEO



VANCOUVER, B.C. Canada   February 5, 2008

Mobidia Technology, Inc. today announced that Derek Spratt has been appointed to the position of President & CEO, succeeding Gary Tauss.

Derek Spratt comes to Mobidia from Intrinsyc Software International, Inc. where he was founder and CEO for over a decade. Mr. Spratt has 26 years experience in the wireless technology industry, variously as a product designer, manager, executive, board member, and advisor, for companies such as Consequent Technologies, PCS Wireless, CSI/Ernex, Nexus Engineering, Motorola, Integra Systems, Canysco Engineering, and DBA Telecom. Mr. Spratt has also recently served as an independent director of Mobidia, and also sits on the board of BC Advantage Funds, and Alt Software Corporation. Mr. Spratt has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Queens University.

Gary Tauss, who joined the Company as President and CEO in June of 2006, has stepped down. "The Board of Directors thanks Gary and appreciates his effort and success he had in leading Mobidia. He took the company from a very early start up phase to its current position of success by securing carrier trials, two rounds of financing, and key positions with Tier One wireless carriers and strategic partners. We wish him the very best", said Trent Punnett, Chairman of the Board.
