Derek has been an active CEO, founder, investor, advisor and board member with local BC technology firms for the past 30 years. He has also been a contributor to the technology community via his board level involvement in Wavefront – a wireless startup accelerator, Acetech - the Academy of technology CEOs, and the Vancouver Enterprise Forum. Derek has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Queens and started out in his career in 1982, first as a product designer, and later in executive management and leadership positions, most recently as Founder and CEO of Intrinsyc Software International Inc (1996-2006). Chris has over 20 years of experience within startups and Fortune 500 companies in the wireless and software industries. He is a passionate mobile enthusiast and has led teams in product marketing, product management, business development, and international sales and marketing. Before joining Mobidia, he spent many years at Microsoft, leading the product management team and their efforts to build and commercialize the intial Windows Mobile, Microsoft's first platform for the PDA and smartphone categories.

Chris has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Kevin McGuire

Kevin McGuire

Kevin has over 18 years experience leading product teams and businesses that deliver mobile software and solutions to enterprise and carrier customers around the world.  Before joining Mobidia, he was Vice President at Motricity, responsible for Product Management, Engineering, and its Enterprise Business Unit. Previously, he was President, COO & CTO of Adenyo, which Motricity acquired in 2011. He has also worked in Product Management roles with Windows Mobile at Microsoft, and co-founded TrueContext, a mobile SaaS start-up.  He began his career and held progressively senior roles at Alcatel, via its acquisition of Newbridge Networks. Kevin graduated from McGill University and holds multiple mobile software patents.
