Responsibilities

• Lead native development of world-class iOS and Android applications
• Apply extensive software development experience and app development best-practises to push existing product to next level

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of object-oriented software development experience
• 2+ years building complex native applications for iOS and/or Android using platform-specific APIs
• Experience designing clean and maintainable APIs
• Experience with multithreaded programming
• Experience writing unit tests and testable code
• Experience managing and upgrading the outputs of other team members
• Experience integrating third-party SDK and frameworks
• Experience defining app architecture and development strategies
• Demonstrated ability to quickly realize concepts into demo-able realizations
• Knowledge of iOS and/or Android performance tools and optimization techniques
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills

Mobidia is looking for QA/Test Lead Rockstars to help us develop and refine our tools & processes and enhance the quality and efficiency of our software and automated testing in order to deliver great products to our customers. Join our team and have your code and ideas reach millions of passionate and engaged users around the world.

Multiple positions at various levels and responsibilities are available.

Responsibilities

• Specify and create test cases for new features
• Write and maintain automatic test scripts that will provide test reports for every sprint
• Profile our apps to check for performance, responsiveness and memory footprint
• Assist the decision makers in approving the final go for each release
• Understand the need for white box vs. black box testing, and coordinate with the development team to deliver each when necessary

Requirements

• B.S. Computer Science or related field (or at least 4 years of industry experience)
• 4+ years of experience as QA Engineer and a passion for testing
• Excellent understanding of mobile UIs and technologies
• Excellent understanding of REST APIs and structured responses such as JSON or XML
• Experience with defect-tracking and revision control systems
• Experience with test management tools (e.g. TestLink)
• Experience with continuous integration concepts, test automation and command-line scripting
• Flexibility to deal with a rapidly changing environment
• Passion for quality
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, attention to detail and communication skills

Additional Assets

• Experience with profiling tools such as XCode for iOS and DDMS for Android
• Some experience in writing mobile apps, either for iOS or Android
• Experience with setting up server-based applications, such as a LAMP environment.

Database Engineer/ Data Warehouse Specialist

• Evolve, monitor and tune existing OLTP / OLAP database systems
• Build and maintain infrastructure for data collection and automated report generation
• Manage OPEX of cloud infrastructure and search for efficiency gains

Responsibilities

• Design, architect and develop data solutions to help product and business teams
• Lead end-to-end efforts to design, develop and implement data integration processes for external insights, Data Warehouse and Operational Data Store
• Influence overall strategy and roadmap to architect and build a scalable insights solution as well as data warehouse environment
• Leverage homegrown ETL framework as well as off-the-shelf ETL tools, as appropriate
• Interface closely with engineering teams to build and extend report generation framework
• Provide consultative solutions approach to business partners such as Analysts, Management, End Users and Developers to clarify objectives, determine scope, drive consensus, identify problems and recommend solutions

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or related field
• Passionate about data
• 5+ years of database / data warehouse development
• Expert understanding of ETL techniques and best practices to handle extremely large volume of data
• Experience with Data warehousing architecture and data modeling best practices
• Knowledge of Hadoop, HBase and Hive highly preferred
• Experience with File Systems, server architectures, and distributed systems
• Knowledge of BI reporting solutions preferred
• Expertise around database programming and performance tuning techniques
• Strong analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Strong communication skills and willingness to take initiative to contribute beyond basic responsibilities
